Day 1: OUT OF SPAIN
Flight out of Spain.
Day 2: CHENNAI
Arrival at Chennai Airport. Pick up and transfer to hotel in Chennai (the room will be available from 14:00h.) Accommodation: Hotel Vivanta by Taj Connemara (Superior).  Breakfast. Free day to explore the city on your own. sur-india_04 Chennai also known as Madras, is the capital of Tamil Nadu, southern state of India , located in an area of ​​200 square kilometers , east of the Bay of Bengal. It is the country’s fourth largest city. The official name was changed to Chennai in 1996, but the traditional name Madras is still used especially in the West . Chennai is a place to enjoy it, since it does not have the congestion of other major cities of India. One of the main attractions of the city are its beaches, among them the most famous is Marina Beach, one of the largest in India and around the world ; Cavelong Beach, one of the best in Coromandel , is situated in the middle of quaint local and serves as the perfect retreat to get away from the noise of the city, Elliot Beach one of the cleanest in the city. sur-india_02 The ancient city of Chennai is indeed a splendor of structures, reminiscent of the bygone era. So are historical and architectural wonders such as Fort St. George, is located on the shores of the Bay of Bengal; Freemasons Hall, for cultural and traditional heritage of the peoples who inhabited the ancient city of Madras Government Museum , Kamaraj Memorial House, Senate Chamber, definitely a worth watching monument in Tamil Nadu to be an architectural marvel. The temples are places of worship of Hindus .. Some of the temples that you can visit in Chennai are Parathasarathy, Kapaleeswarar, Sri Vadapalani Andavar, Ashtalakshmi, Mangadu Kamakshiamman and Kaligambal
Day 3: CHENNAI – MYSORE – NAGARHOLE
We get up early in the morning to take us to the train station where we will take a train to Mysore sur-india_16 MAA / MYS Exp Shatabadi ETD / ETA: 06:00 / 13:00 Upon arrival at Mysore station, picked up by our staff and transfer to Nagarhole National Park (90km, about 2 ½ hours). Arrival at resort and check-in Accommodation: Kabini River Lodge (full board) Nagarhole National Park is a lovely park in Karnataka and has an amazing abundance of wildlife, including large mammals such as tiger, leopard, wild elephant, dhole (Indian wild dog), and gaur (Indian bison). Other animals find are chital (spotted deer), “muntjac” (barking deer), mouse deer, four-horned antelope, wild boar, sloth bear, hyena, mongoose, civet, otter, and many more. The dry deciduous forest trees evergreen leaves in summer and peeled winters. There are grassy swamps where the soil is clayey and permanently wet, and that promote lush growth of green grass all year. sur-india_13 The original forest was once was a hunting ex clusive for the former Maharajas of Mysore. The park has been recently renamed as Rajiv Gandhi National Park in honor of the late Prime Minister of India. It is among the best parks in India, due to the diversity of fauna. It has a large population of elephants and bison. It also has about 250 species of birds. To the north is the Kabini River and on its southern boundaries Bandipur National Park is. Dam Kabini River and its picturesque reservoir defines the two national parks. During the dry season (February to June), this artificial lake attracts a large number of animals, so it is an ideal place to spot wildlife.
Days 4 and 5 : NAGARHOLE NATIONAL PARK

Day 6: NAGARHOLE N. P. – ANNAMALAI
sur-india_15 We will drive through the Cardamon hills to the Annamalai National Park (130 Km, about 4 hours). On arrival we will go into the forest to get to our new accommodation for the next 2 nights. Late in the afternoon, we will take a guided walk through the woods Accommodation: Cottage Top Slip. Full board. Anamalai HILLS, is a mountain range in southern India in Coimbatore district of Madras. It really is a bare forest and a covered plateau hie rba , and a mountain of 8,000 meters, the mountain Anaimudi , which is the highest in South India. Its geological formation is metamorphic gneiss, feldspar and quartz veining interspersed with reddish porphyry . The lower slopes produce teak and other valuable and in some lands , has joined the coffee plantation . The Wild Life Sanctuary Indira Gandhi (also conicdo as Annamalai Wildlife Sanctuary ) is at an altitude of 1400 meters in the Western Ghats near Pollachi . The sanctuary area is 958 km2 and has a large variety of fauna like elephant, gaur , tiger, panther, sloth bear, pangolin , oriole , green pigeon and civet cat . In Amaravathy we can find a large number of crocodiles. The scenery is spectacular as those found in Karain Shola , Shola Anaikunthi , in the green hills , its waterfalls and teak forests , dams and reservoirs.
Day 7: ANNAMALAI NATIONAL PARK
sur-india_05 Spend the day at this park. We will trek in the morning to see some of the species of mammals and birds in danger of extinction. In the afternoon trekking around the house is where we stayed for a chance to observe the animal life that exist in this area. Accommodation: Cottage Top Slip. Full board.
Day 8: P.N. ANNAMALAI – MUNNAR
After breakfast, we leave by car to Munnar (140km. about 4-5 hours of driving. Upon arrival, we check in at the hotel for the next two nights. In the afternoon, we will trek through the cardamom plantation and the forest to observe wildlife species in this area. sur-india_14 Munnar is a hill station in the Western Ghats, a mountain range located in the Idukki district of the Indian state of Kerala. The name Munnar meaning “Three Rivers”, and refers to the strategic location of the city at the confluence of the Madhurapuzha, Kundaly Nallathanni and rivers. The city has shared a strong cultural ties with Tamil Nadu. This hill station is marked by vast expanses of tea plantations, colonial bungalows, rivulets, waterfalls and cool weather. It is also ideal for hiking and mountain biking destination. Accommodation: Blackberry Garden Studio. Breakfast.
Day 9: MUNNAR – RAJAMALAI N.P. (EVARIKULAM)
sur-india_06After breakfast, we leave by car to the Rajamalai Park (also known as Evarikulam) National Park Rajamalai (Evarikulam) One of the main attractions in and around Munnar is Rajamalai National Park. Located about 15 kms. Munnar, this park is famous for its inhabitant “Nilgiri Tahr” endangered. Spread over an area of ​​97 kms. squares., this park is also home to several rare species of butterflies, animals and birds. A great place for trekking, the park offers a magnificent view of the tea plantations and mountains caressed by fog banks. The park becomes a popular destination when the slopes are covered in a carpet of blue, resulting Neelakurinji Bloom, a plant endemic to this part of the Western Ghats which blooms once every twelve years. Day 10: MUNNAR – PERIYAR

The landscape varies from hilly to flat grassland areas at the edges of lakes. The vegetation is wet type. Periyar is a veritable paradise of elephants. Herds of wild elephants can be seen near Lake Periyar. Other animals that inhabit the park are the tiger (currently about 40 copies), sambar, deer, deer, langur, wild dog, porcupine, lion tailed macaque, squirrel, malabar bear, sloth bear. Day 11: PERIYAR
We will spend the day trekking through the park of Periyar. We will do quiet walks through the magical forest, connecting with the most pristine nature, to feel her, hear her whispers and smell her flowers. During this trip you will get to see birds, butterflies and other wildlife species. The walk takes place sometimes in ways that forest interspersed deciduous and evergreen swampy grasslands Overnight at Hotel SPICE VILLAGE. Breakfast included.
Day 12: PERIYAR – BACKWATERS
sur-india_12 After an early breakfast we drive to Backwaters to board our houseboat. The rest of the day will be spent relaxing on our boat that will move through these channels. Numerous water birds will accompany you during the trip. The boat takes us to a splendid area full of canals, lakes and caves. Soak up the sun and get spectacular images from the deck or observe the landscape in the cabin. The life of the local people in the running water. People surfing, fishing, swim and bathe here. Day 13: BACKWATERS – COCHIN
After breakfast at our ship, disembark and sunlit we drive to Cochin. On arrival transfer to hotel to check- in sur-india_09Then we will visit Cochin. Cochin is popularly known as the ” Queen of Arabian Sea ” Cochin is a group of islands in the vast expanse of the Vembanad Lake . The lake opens Arabian Sea here to form one of the most beautiful natural harbors in the world. It is a natural advantage that has made Cochin a fascinating blend of cultures explorers and traders . Arabs, Chinese, Portuguese , Dutch and British have left their mark here . The Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace , the Chinese fishing nets and other remnants of European and Asian architecture merge smoothly into the traditions of the seaport city. The Dutch Palace also known as Mattancherry Palace ( closed on Fridays ) built by the Portuguese and presented to the Raja of Cochin in 1555. It acquired its current name in 1663 when the Dutch was made ​​additions and repairs in the palace. Its interior is decorated with murals of Ramayana and there are some samples of real authentic costumes and palanquins . Continue through the Jewish Synagogue which was built in 1568. Scrolls of the Old Testament , silver copper with the privileges granted to the Cochin rulers were recorded in exquisite Chinese hand-painted tiles . The Chinese fishing nets are also of interest . Day 14: COCHIN – BACK TO SPAIN
At the agreed time pick you up at your hotel to pass on to the airport and catch the flight back to Spain.
