Kullu Dussehra is a popular festival celebrated during the month of October in the state of Himachal Pradesh in northern India. It takes place in Dhalpur in Kullu Valley. Kullu Dussehra begins on the tenth day of the waxing moon, the day called ‘Vijay Dashmi’ and for seven days.

Day 4: AMRITSAR – DHARAMSALA

The construction of the Golden Temple combines the design principles of Muslims, Hindus and Europeans. After the visit we moved to Dharamsala Amritsar (130 Kms /2 ½ hrs), home to the Dalai Lama. This population is in a beautiful place, with oak and coniferous trees, the snowy mountains surrounding the city on three sides, while the valley stretches in front. Day 5: DHARAMSALA

Day 6: DHARAMSALA – KULLU

Kullu is located in the western mountains Hinala Pir Pinjal, in the state of Himachal Pradesh and is known as the last frontier “Kulanthpith – the end of the habitable world. One of the villages that you can visit is JANA, arriving after an interesting 3 hour walk from Kullu. Modernity has gradually found its way into the Kullu Valley, but still living here is relaxed, serene, quiet and simple. Some aspects of village life have not changed for centuries, the locals still participating in the vocation that was provided to them by their ancestors. JANA remote village has only a handful of houses that retain their original character and architectural style. Day 8: KULLU

After breakfast, we will make the visit to Manali 20 kms both your old and new. The old Manali is dotted with small cafes decorated with the most unusual art. Day 9: KULLU

It is a beautiful blend of history, culture and customs. Celebrations of Dussehra in Kullu together over two hundred deities for seven days. The celebrations include a carriage decorated with dazzling idol Raghunathji moving from one place to another by means of long ropes. The celebrations are attended by thousands of devotees. Día 10: KULLU – DELHI

Morning departure by road from Kullu to (499 Kms /8 hrs) to Delhi. Upon arrival, we head to the hotel in Delhi for accommodation that night.
