Sri Lanka

IMG_0481Sri Lanka is a small island south of India. Throughout its history it has had different names, such as the Resplendent Island, the Pearl of the Orient, Serendib, from which derived the word “serendipity”-the ability to cause happiness to others through chance discoveries by accident-or prior to the current that was Ceylon. In any case, Sri Lanka is a perfect destination for wildlife lovers.

With ECOWILDLIFE you’ll discover fabulous parks and reserves where elephants and leopards live and a variety of bird species, including among them some of their endemic species. It has 86 species of mammals, 427 birds and 242 butterfly. It is a tropical island with a great diversity of ecosystems that find huge tea plantations, prairies, plains, cloud forests and rainforests.
